Level 2

I'll admit that I've freaked out about level 2 on more than one occasion, I knew if it was anything like 30 Day Shred level 2 then I was in for some serious plank work (my LEAST favourite!) and I wasn't disappointed!

In the first ab section of level 1 you have to hold a plank for 30 seconds, that is pretty tricky really but little did I know that was just preparation for 2 full minutes of holding a plank whilst doing cardio.... that woman is the devil.

I'll happily admit I couldn't hold on my wrists for 2 minutes, I've got a subluxation of my right wrist that I've had since I was about 17, which means in simple terms that the 7 bones in your wrist that are arranged in a sort of circle will move out of position, sometimes for no real reason at all, it happens quite alot whilst I'm asleep and almost always happens when I'm playing tennis.  Anway I digress, because of this I don't want to jerk about on it too much so when I started to feel pain I dropped onto plank on my elbows and carried on, and I can assure you I can feel it in my shoulders today - OUCH!

So that was 2 minutes of plank jacks and mountin climbers which was probably the worst 2 minutes of the cardio, I havent decided what else I like the least yet, I've kind of blanked it out of my mind!!

Here are the pictures for yesterday:

I know I've only been doing this for 8 days and I can't expect miracles but I really wish I could see any sort of difference from these pictures and the first set I took.

Yesterday was another good day for food, porridge again for breakfast with a banana and an acitmel, lunch was mushrooms and bacon fried together in a pan in a teaspoon of oil then I cracked an egg over the top and fried that so all the bacon and mushroom was mingled in, it sounds rank but was lush.  The Mr always goes on about having fajitas when I ask him what he wants but I'm not keen on the horrible full feeling you get afterwards so instead for dinner I made the fajita chicken mix and we had it with brown rice and a little grated cheese on the top, it was really yummy so we'll be having that again!

Calories: 1352/1479
5 a Day? Banana, mushrooms, red onion, yellow pepper, red pepper - do 2 kinds of pepper count?  Tomato passata in the fajita sauce (read online that that counts but it feels like cheating!).
